As one of the most diverse counties in the United States, we proudly honor our roots with many special celebrations and annual events throughout the year. From multi-cultural flag raisings, monument unveilings, holiday celebrations, live music presentations and art shows, we happily commemorate Hudson County’s rich history, rich culture and endless ethnic groups.

ROTUNDA EXHIBITIONS

HCOCHA/TD hosts, and curates art shows at the Brennan Gallery, located in the rotunda of the majestic Justice William J. Brennan Hudson County Court House in Jersey City. FLAG RAISINGS & CELEBRATIONS

Throughout the year, HCOCHA/TD honors and celebrates the history and achievements of the vast array of cultures and ethnic groups that make up our community. We are host annual flag raisings and celebrations that commemorate prominent figures in Hudson County.

strides for safety 5k

The Strides for Safety 5K is the rallying point to raise awareness about what is being done to end gun violence and provide an opportunity for everyone to get involved. More than a single event, the Strides for Safety is a dynamic platform to support and celebrate community organizations working to build peace and bring out the best of our city.

FALL festIVAL

Our annual family friendly Hudson County Family Fun Halloween Fest at 902 Brewing Co. kicks off the Halloween festivities. There is always face painting, pumpkin decorating, balloon twisting, glitter tattoos, trick or treating, family activities, costume contest, obstacle course, trackless train, live music all day and plenty of delicious bites; an event where everyone can have so much fun!
